♡ physicians formula nude wear ♡

Firstly, could this packaging be any cuter?  I got these cuties as a Christmas gift and have been trying them out for a while.

Nude Wear Glowing Nude Blush (left)

Haven’t used this as much as I would like because it is very shimmery, but I have heard that this shimmer is more of a layer on top so perhaps that will disappear with some use.

Nude Wear Touch of Glow Foundation (centre)

This is probably my favorite foundation of all time! I can’t say much about the little applicator brush that comes with because I feel it soaks up a lot of the product, however I do use it to dot the foundation on my face and I’m just using my fingers to spread it evenly. I do have a foundation brush I just haven’t got around to washing it. Oops.

Nude Wear Touch of Glow Stick (right)

Despite the cuteness of this chubby little thing I don’t like it all that much. It’s just very sparkly. As someone with oily skin I can say extra sparkle doesn’t look cute all over your face. Even trying to utilize this as a highlighter gets tricky. There is just too much sparkle! I also feel it might be a touch too dark for my skin at the moment since I’ve become extra pale over winter.

Some not very good swatches 😦

3. very shimmery blush swatches… I’ll try to get a better picture 🙂

Have a lovely day.

♡ review: physician’s formula super CC+ ♡

Super CC+Correct+Conceal+Cover Cream SPF 30

Since I have been seriously lacking with posts here’s a fab review for you all.  These are some new Physician’s Formula products I’ve been trying out the last little while. I could probably stand to switch to a lighter shade of this because it might be just a touch too dark, although if I use a powder it looks pretty decent. Perhaps when summer rolls around and I get a tan it will look better. This is really easy to blend although I think one coat isn’t necessarily full coverage so it has to be built up. I haven’t really found that I need to if I’m having good skin days though, generally I just use it to even out my skin tone and not so much for covering acne or acne scars.

Super CC+Correct+Conceal+ Cover Concealer SPF 30

Overall I liked this concealer enough that I would buy it again, until I found a better one of course. Compared to the Benefit Erase Paste it is much easier to apply since it isn’t as thick. I also noticed that it doesn’t sink into the creases around the eye area as much. It really brightens up my eye area which is usually puffy and purple from never, ever sleeping. Kidding.

Thanks for reading.

july favourites

I suppose this counts as a monthly favourites post right? Even though it’s a bit late… Everything is from Essence Cosmetics, mainly because I’m trying to be more conscious of what products I’m buying, and being a little nicer to my wallet.  All of the Essence cosmetics are ridiculously inexpensive. That meaning most, if not all, of the products are under $5.

i ❤ smokey jumbo eye pencil

I love pencil eyeliner that applies as easy as this. There’s no going over your waterline 70 times before it even looks like you applied anything. It’s my new go -to for everyday.

i ❤ extreme crazy volume mascara

Might have beaten the benefit mascara that was my favourite before. This seriously gives you full lashes without clumps.

lipstick in #12 sparkling miracle

(oops we’re upside down)

This isn’t the best lipstick I’ve ever tried, but it’s not too shabby. The main reason I purchased this was to give the colour a go, I’m pleased with it.

kiss care love lipbalm in #03 fruitylicious

Slightly scented and reminds me of baby lips lip balm, except cheaper!

Obviously I didn’t have enough lip gloss. I’m not a big fan of sparkles on my lips but these aren’t too sparkly therefore I deem them worthy. Haha.

Hope you enjoyed my little post, feel free to comment! p.s. excuse the pictures I tried to make use of my phone but I’ll stay away from that in the future.
